SIngapore - No Sign Board Seafood Rest in Geylang

Went to this great seafood place in Geylang (red light district in Singapore) with family and friends. I could only take the first 3 dishes, everything went so fast and my hands are dirty with those crabs and crayfish.

The restaurant put this decoration made of bird's nest on the wall. Looks expensive.

My wife spotted this ad on our way to the airport and took a picture. She's really pretty.

Matsubishi Teppanyaki

Last day in HK, we went for Teppanyaki with my father's friend and his family from Miami. Well, he's based in HK now. Food was great.

Hong Kong Again

These pictures were taken in various tourist spots in Hong Kong. Causeway bay area, Times Square, and the Exhibition Center where we viewed some auction paintings.

Ng Ah Sio Pork Ribs Soup

We've been going to this restaurant every time we visit Singapore. It's really famous for the pork ribs soup (Bakut teh). Ordered a bowl of Pork Ribs soup and a deep fried donut (cakwe). Looks like they got some award.

Went to Sun & Moon restaurant in Singapore. Ordered some Oyster, Crunchy eel and prawn roll, and Hokkai Kamameshi. Kamameshi comes with a little sand-timer...inside it are all the good stuff as you can see (uni, kani, unagi, ikura, salmon, etc)

Hong Kong - Day 2

Day 2 in Hong Kong is Idul Fitri day (Moeslim's New Year) and the area we stay at (Causewaybay) is the place for Indonesian worker to gather. In the morning I notice a lot of crowds in Victoria park, gathering to celebrate their new year.



Since the area is crowded, we went to Kowloon instead. It's on the other side of the island.




Oh, I don't have any pics of the food we had (mostly chinese food) in this camera. There's some in the other camera, which I will post later. But most of the time, my family just start digging in without giving me chance to take pictures.

Hong Kong - Day 1

Arrived at the hotel at 4pm. I got a nice room with Victoria Park and Hong Kong Harbour view. The bathroom wall is glass...interesting. Well, we got a big Panasonic LCD in the room. Very good hotel.

Hongkong and Singapore trip

I've been away from home for the past 2 weeks (almost 3 weeks now actually). I went to Hongkong and Singapore. Got lots of pictures on my cameras and cell phones. The pics are scatterred. I tried copying pics from my dSLR but this damn old computer won't let me do it. I guess I'll post those pics tomorrow night when I get home...yup Home Sweet Home.
